What is the pre shipment inspection of imported used mechanical and electrical products?

Pre shipment inspection of imported used mechanical and electrical products, commonly known as intermediate inspection. What are the specific items to be inspected before shipment of imported used mechanical and electrical products?

Pre shipment inspection includes:

（1） Inspect whether the imported used mechanical and electrical products are consistent with the national approval items. Verify whether the relevant products meet the requirements of the compulsory product certification system, import quality license management and other regulations in accordance with the current entry verification regulations.

（2） Check whether the name, specification, model, quantity, place of origin, manufacturing date, old and new conditions, price and other physical conditions of the imported used mechanical and electrical products are consistent with the contract or agreement.

（3） Inspection of safety, health, environmental protection and other items:

1. Check the safety signs and warning marks on the appearance of the goods;

2. Check the safety of protective devices, electrical parts and mechanical parts of goods in static state;

3. Check the safety, reliability and stability of goods in operation;

4. Inspect the hygiene, environmental protection and other items of the goods.

The inspection and quarantine department or inspection institution shall issue the pre shipment inspection certificate and attach the pre shipment inspection report after completing the pre shipment inspection.

2. Contact person and telephone number of intermediate inspection (it must be a common contact person and can cooperate with intermediate inspection personnel for inspection)
